I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your presence, and that of your staff, at the annual TACIA Conference. Your keynote presentations, along with your exhibit material, provided all of the attendees at the conference with ‘icing on the cake.’ This was significant because of the many professions present at the conference, from so many different agencies, including those from New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the U.S.
If we had to summarize your presentations in a succinct format, it would be that we found your material on identity theft to be the most comprehensive, and yet least understood, of the personal and professional threats facing both law enforcement and the public. A more alarming message you presented to our conference participants concerns the real threat posed by ID theft and financial crimes related to the growing threat of terrorism. Your message needs to be heard!
